The successful candidate must be able to work in a cross-functional environment and interact with representatives from CGI, and our end-clients. This technical lead manager will work at various CGI/ clients consulting and executing various business and IT initiatives from road map assessment architecture best practice phase implementations, and go live. Your future duties and responsibilities: The IT Technical Lead is accountable for the effective delivery of RIM capabilities and services supporting the US business with specific focus in system implementations. This technical lead partners with business teams to define and drive RIM capabilities to meet their specific strategic needs across new and integration work. This position will accelerate the RIM capabilities business through technology innovation and ensure that their information capabilities and operations are reliable. You will build strong partnerships with the CGI internal team and external client teams globally to drive consistent adoption of RIM capabilities and innovation opportunities and launch excellence. Required qualifications to be successful in this role: . 2-10+ years' experience working in a multi-site enterprise SAN/NAS environment . Strong storage SAN/NAS administration and architectural experience on Dell/EMC (Isilon and VMAX/Powermax) . Strong storage administration and architectural experience on NetApp ONTAP in a SAN/NAS environment . Administrative experience on DDN storage arrays . Administrative experience on Brocade SAN switches . Ability to participate in a rotating on-call schedule for after-hours support as well as the ability to be onsite within SLA requirements . Solving complicated Hardware cases and Liaising with Hardware Vendors and Support . Excellent written and verbal communication skills . Technical abilities and willingness to 'own the outcome' Excellent problem-solving skills and interpersonal acumen in a cross-team enterprise IT environment . Ability to execute service tickets, perform maintenance tasks, and coordinate schedules and access regarding onsite maintenance activities . In-depth knowledge of using SYMCLI Desired qualifications/non-essential skills required Technical Skills. EMC Powermax / VMAX: . In-depth knowledge of using SYMCLI . Experience in SRDF and Time Finder administration and configuration . Strong working knowledge in SAN backup/recovery, replication, and disaster recovery best practices . High level of competence in concepts such as Storage Pools, Storage Groups, Host Groups, LUNs, Port Groups, Masking Views, etc. . Strong Knowledge on Performance analysis factors of Storage Arrays EMC Isilon: . Working knowledge of SMB and NFSv3 (NFSv4 ACLs preferred) and Isilon's multiprotocol options (OneFS synthetic ACLs) . Client-side protocol (SMB/CIFS and NFS) administration and architecture/troubleshooting considerations . Creating and configuring Access Zones for SMB and NFS access . Isilon cluster administration concepts such as checking cluster health, identifying disk failures, draining nodes, sanitizing disks, removing nodes, etc . SyncIQ replication setup, configuring schedules, monitoring and troubleshooting sync failures . Finding active SMB sessions and open files and managing sessions . Administering Cloud Pools NetApp ONTAP: . In-depth knowledge of ONTAP CLI, System Manager, and NetApp monitoring tools (Cloud Insights, Unified Manager, etc) . Proficiency with NetApp storage provisioning concepts such as SVMs, flexvols, flexgroups, LIFs, LUNs, igroups, LUN mapping, CIFS share, Homedir, and NFS exports . NetApp architectural experience in designing aggregates, flash pools, adding and removing nodes, SVM layout, broadcast-domains, ifgrps, and VLANs . Client-side protocol (SMB/CIFS and NFS) administration and architecture/troubleshooting considerations . Experience in NetApp's data protection and disaster recovery concepts using Snapshots, Snapmirror, SVM-DR. Brocade: . Familiarity with Brocade DCX 8510-8 and X6-8 switches . Possess proficiency on the Fabric O/S command line interface . Proficiency with SAN administrative concepts such as zoning, zonesets, aliases, etc . Experience administering Virtual Fabrics . Work with server administrators to gather necessary information to create, update, or decommission zones and aliases . Demonstrate real world experience regarding SAN considerations of Disaster Recovery in a SAN environment DDN : . DDN array administration experience on SFA18J and SFA7990X Arrays .
