BMG Outsourcing is currently looking for a passionate Technical Estimator to work with one of our Australian clients that is an expert technology (IT) company.
Our client is a customer-focused and expert IT company that provides various technical support, security, and IT network security that helps their clients to maximize the return on investment for their IT systems by using the best practice principles in IT systems management.
Job Responsibilities:
Working with the director and senior technicians to create and build solutions for client requests. This includes including scoping the solution to determine hardware, software and labour requirements. The solution design would mostly be worked on with the client or with other technicians and the would need to be costed out in this role. As the individual gained experience they would be able to do more of the solution design.
Putting together quotations and writing up proposals in Quotewerks quoting system
Assisting the client in creating simple quotations (eg. New computers)
Creating quoting templates for various solution scenarios to assist with future proposals
Job Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years' experience as IT Technician
Excellent computer / technical skills (hardware and software)
Experience working with small or medium businesses
Experienced in all areas of IT - workstations, servers and networking
Experience in websites and domain works
Experience or understanding in DELL & HP server hardware
Microsoft licensing experience
Exceptional English both written and verbal
A good and clear communicator
Can perform multi-tasking job and has attention to details
Can deliver quality output and meet deadlines.
Pro-active and has a sense of professionalism
