Description
The primary role of a Technical Engineer is to provide technical support to the Engineering Team in Solar System installation projects. The individual will coordinate with technicians for every downtime and system maintenance to customers businesses.
A professional and friendly image is to be conveyed always. Technically-minded and background in Solar System is highly regarded.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor Solar System performance and dropouts through Solar Portals
• Manage and create Pre-Approval Applications aligned to Australian Standards and Regulations
• Monitor Client Portals for business' system performance and Managing Portals
• Communicate to Project Managers and Warranty Coordinator regarding Solar Monitoring and Pre-Approval Process
• Fault Diagnosis and coordinate servicing with technicians and customers
• Coordinate with Technicians and Engineers in developing Schematic Designs needed for the Pre-Approval document
• Conduct study with voltage rise equipment such as cable sizes and making sure to adhere to distributor standards
Skills and Qualifications:
• A graduate of Electronics or Electrical Engineering or relevant work experience in Solar Systems
• Must have a background in Microsoft Visio / AutoCAD
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills through the English language
• Exceptional thoroughness and attention to details
• Excellent customer service orientation
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
• Ability to multitask and coordinate activities based on deadlines
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
