Neovia is a leading player in animal nutrition which operates in six business lines: complete feed, aquaculture, pet care, premix/firm services, additives & ingredients, and analysis laboratories. These client needs are currently served through 3 Production Plants and over 900 local collaborators.
TECHNICAL BUYER
The Non-commodity Buyer position is responsible for acquiring, purchasing and negotiating materials and supplies for the company as well as compiling proposals. This position negotiates with vendors to obtain quotations, prices and delivery times and supports applications. The Buyer also evaluates vendor quotes and services for accuracy and will monitor quality of goods by reviewing costs, schedules, timelines of delivery & conformance to specifications. This position must be familiar with ERP and other purchasing systems. Must be detail oriented, self-motivated and have the ability to multi-task and thrive in a high pace environment.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in a technical area (mechanical engineering / mechatronics / industrial engineering) or other related discipline is preferred
At least 3 years of professional experience in purchasing
Profound ERP knowledge
Proven negotiations skills
Cost awareness and entrepreneurial thinking
Self-reliant and independent way of working
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Strong organizational skills
Excellent communication skills
Stress resilience and ability to work in a fast paced environment with time restrictions.
