JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a well-experienced Technical Blogger/Web Content Writer with extensive general knowledge and experience in Electronics, to work as a Copy Writer for the company website. The company has an eCommerce website, selling a large range of Products. The website lists 8000+ items.

The company is currently undertaking a major SEO project, aimed at improving its Google ranking for each product. It also plans to add a significant number of new pages to its website.
The successful applicant will work as part of an SEO team, developing and writing SEO friendly original product descriptions, developing copy for blogs and Web Landing Pages, providing answers to specific frequently asked questions (FAQs)
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Work with the SEO manager and SEO assistant to develop original written copy for specific webpage product descriptions.
Research & analyse content on highly ranked competitor pages for specific products
Write keyword-based, original, SEO friendly, general information on a topic or product at a low technical level, easily understood by non-technical readers
Collect information and specifications on specific products to develop and collate general product information and specifications for webpage body test.
Research & compose original answers to the most common frequently asked questions FAQs listed on Google for specific product/topic keywords or phrases
Develop blog styled written copy for Web Landing Pages based on specific products
Other content writing duties as assigned
KEY SKILLS QUALIFICATION
Electronics engineering qualifications, experience or equivalent
A very broad general knowledge of electronics, IT, connectivity & communications
Strong English written skills, with the ability to translate technical language into easy to understand Product descriptions, features and benefits that will engage the reader
Some technical journalistic or writing experience preferred
Excellent communication skills (in English)
Proven ability to work in a team
Ability to follow instructions under the guidance of the SEO team leader
Ability to meet deadlines
Proven ability with SEO success. Experience with writing or marketing on Social Media, would be an advantage but not required.
KEY PERFORMANCE MEASURES
Share a keen interest in electronics and related fields. keeping updated with the technology, including the ability to research a topic, in order to write content for our target market
