Reporting to the Technical Audit Manager of the Transmission Assets and Projects Audit Division, the successful candidate will be responsible for conducting a comprehensive process, operational and compliance review related to the Office of the Operations & Maintenance (O&M) and System Operations (SO). Formulates recommendations regarding control deficiencies and system ineffectiveness through obtaining an understanding of its key processes and reviewing policies and procedures.
Performs Identification and assessment of individual risks through the evaluation of O&M and SO's established policies, procedures, standards and processes resulting to identification of high risk areas in need of further review.
Manages the execution of assigned and approved audit engagements through the management of individual audit milestones. * Manages the evaluation of the adequacy and effectiveness of established internal controls to ensure
accurate, reliable, timely and significant managerial and operating information are provided to stakeholders; and
compliance to existing internal policies, standards and procedures as well as to rules and regulations promulgated by regulatory bodies
Manages the formulation of recommendations and communicating audit results regarding inadequacies and ineffectiveness of controls and non-compliances to policies, standards and procedures.
Identifies areas for profit improvement, process efficiency, and cost control.
Formulates professional development and educational plans for Senior Internal Auditors.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Accountancy
Preferably: Registered Electrical, Mechanical or Civil Engineer, Certified Public Accountant(CPA), or Certified Internal Auditor (CIA).
With 5 years of relevant experience
Preferably with knowledge of SAP, Audit Command Language (ACL), Audit Management Tool/System (e.g. TeamMate)
Knowledgeable of professional standards, rules, laws and regulations applicable to operations audit
With analytical and critical thinking
