TECHNICAL ACCOUNT MANAGER
Description
The Technical Account Manager (TAM) is primarily an advocate for the customer in all interactions with 4IT. The TAM is in charge of managing 4IT’s business relationship with customers and works everyday to solve challenges and improve service delivery. The TAM works as a part of a team with the 4IT technical services team, the 4IT team, and the customer to build and manage the customer’s technology roadmap. This is a highly communicative position that requires the building relationships and genuinely caring about our customers. Work Completing Comprehensive Technical Reviews for customers on a recurring basis. Reviews will include organizing a formal presentation that entails assembling reports, quotations, and following the technology roadmap. This is NOT a business development position, and there is no sales quota.
Qualifications:
At least 2 years of previous experience working for an MSP (Managed Service Provider)
At least 2 years of previous experience with CRM (Customer Relationship Management) and/or sales consulting role
Strong understanding of Microsoft Office 365, Azure Virtualization
Strong understanding of Networking, Firewalls, WAN and Wireless
Self-motivated and with an ability to work effectively without micro-management
A proven track record of building, enhancing and strengthening business client relationships
Very strong communication skills and comfort level with phone
Very strong organizational skills and a willingness to do what it takes to help customers succeed
