Overview
Collins Aerospace Interiors division are looking for an expert TeamCenter PLM Administrator to be the key technical specialist supporting Teamcenter installations in Asia and Europe. This role will suit a proactive and collaborative self-starter with high level hands-on problem-solving skills. The candidate will be the go-to person for other admins in Asia and Europe, training and mentoring users and other admins alike as well as being a key person in developing the future path of PLM in Collins Aerospace Interiors division.
Job Responsibilities
Architect, administer and maintain Teamcenter and CAD systems in Europe and Asia.
Provide high level diagnosis, troubleshooting, analysis and support for PLM and CAD tools.
Actively monitor and continuously improve the production environment to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and scalability.
Manage engineering systems queues in the helpdesk tool to meet business service level agreements for resolution time and backlog size.
Test and implement update packages and customization in conjunction with global engineering systems development, program management and support teams.
Communicate system availability changes with European and Asian userbases and leadership.
Maintain up to date documentation of system configuration.
Liaise with system users and management to identify areas for tool improvement, gather requirements and propose recommendations.
Ensure systems meet Global Trade Compliance and other regulatory data access requirements.
Assist with global corporate PLM projects.
Maintain data flow and item ownership between businesses connected with Teamcenter Multisite.
Preferred Qualifications
Three years' minimum experience of administering Teamcenter and NX systems.
Experience of Catia V5 or NX 9 (or higher) admin would be directly applicable.
Experience with BMIDE Naming rules, Deep copy rules, GRM Rules, extensions.
Experience with Workflow Designer, Structure Manager, Access Manager, Preference Manager, Query builder and change management.
Experience with multi-Site architecture and administration.
Working knowledge of Oracle or comparable RDBMS .
Working knowledge of NX and NX Manager.
Working knowledge of CATIA and CATIA-Teamcenter integration.
PL/ SQL knowledge.
Ability to work with limited supervision to meet system availability and enhancement goals.
Demonstration of effective written and verbal communication skills.
Willingness to perform admin activities over the weekends and outside core business hours.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university in an engineering or IT discipline or an equivalent combination of formal education, on-the-job training, and/or work experience.
