Background:
As a Team Leader you will manage the team that handles inquiries by answering service questions by phone. You will be supporting end users and your team during customer service related activities as well as interacting directly with customers in order to provide recommendations.
The ability to effectively communicate via phone and email is of the utmost importance. Your focus to complete your tasks accurately and deliver high quality service in a timely manner is a primary function of your job. Your overall goal is to ensure excellent service standards and maintain high customer satisfaction rates.
Main Roles:
Handle phone calls and provide support
Answer questions, analyze problems, and quickly form solutions to deliver high quality service
Ensure customer satisfaction
Provide team leadership, training, coaching, or other team support
Schedule:
Must feel comfortable working US hours (graveyard shift), schedule will be flexible, including weekends. There will be 2 days off per week.
Responsibilities:
The Team Leader will utilize excellent research, organizational and communication skills to compile and deliver data and written content for business development and business maintenance activities targeting U.S. and Global industry clients. This position will work within a call center setting, to search for Requests for Proposals online, determine if VCloud provides the needed services, and will work with the VCloud RFP Review Board and Sales Teams to complete the responses required, utilizing approved resources including a RFP Question and Answer Database. The position requires focus and consistency in delivering a valid RFP leads to the VCloud Team. This position does not require cold calling or handling inbound customer service calls. It is strictly internet-based research and data entry.
Requirements:
Online research skills and the ability to navigate various search engines and social media platforms.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of VCloud Services and Products and how they apply to various industries.
Organizational and documentation skills to track daily searches and new business leads.
Effectively and consistently communicating leads to VCloud RFP Review Board and Sales Teams.
Research and Analysis skills to locate answers for and appropriately fill in RFP questionnaires using approved resources.
Manage all assigned project work in a timely manner (online research, determining if appropriate lead for VCloud RFP Review Board, complete documentation of searches and valid leads, accurate completion of RFP Questionnaires, etc.)
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a call center environment preferred
Experience with online research and/or RFP identification and completion preferred
Demonstrated competency using information technology, PCs and databases required
Excellent verbal and written skills and proficiency in English required
Ability to multitask with good organizational, time management, problem-solving and decision-making skills required
Ability to communicate with Executive-Level coworkers required
Ability to meet/exceed assigned metrics/goals required
