Account(able) Accountants is an established accounting firm located in Melbourne that provides accounting, taxation and business advisory service to a diverse range of SME Business and SMSF clients.
Seeking an experienced Accountant to join our friendly team on a permanent full-time basis, working for an Australian Company from your home in the Philippines.
With two other team members working for us in the Pampanga area already, they will be able to provide you with support as well as our team of seventeen staff members here in Australia. You will have previous experience working for an Australian taxation practice on business clients or Self-Managed Super Funds.
About the role
Your actual day-to-day responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Key Responsibilities:
Assisting with the preparation of financial statements for all entities including companies, partnerships, trusts, and superannuation funds
Preparing Income Tax returns for the above entities as well as Individuals
Preparation and interpretation of management reports, budgeting, and cash flow forecasting
Preparation and lodging of BAS, IAS and PAYG requirements.
Preparation of supporting workpapers to the highest standard
Skills and experience
4yrs working with an Australian Accounting Firm
Working knowledge of cloud-based accounting software such as XERO, XPM, MYOB & Quickbooks
Ability to think analytically when problem solving.
A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and a desire to succeed.
Have the ability to work with minimal supervision and a commitment to teamwork.
Strong written & verbal communication
