Roles and Responsibilities
- Processes sales invoices, receipts, bills and payments
- Performs bank and account reconciliations
- Processes payroll and prepares pay runs
- Ensures inter-entity loans are correctly recorded
- Maintains fixed asset registry
- Perform month-end close activities
- Prepares Business Activity Statement and Instalment Activity Statement
- Prepares Management Reports
- Prepares TB Reconciliation and supporting work papers
- Prepares Financial Statements
- Prepares Australian Tax Returns (Individual, Partnership, Company and
Trust)
- Prepare Payroll Tax Returns
- Prepare Other ATO reporting - TPAR, STP, etc
- Performs company incorporation and trust settlement
- Performs BAS, IAS and ASIC lodgements
- Completes ad-hoc projects as assigned by managing partner
- Handles various client and ATO communication
- Onboarding of new accounting clients
- Identify areas improvement for the client
Required Experience
- At least 3 years experience in accounts preparation
- At least 1 year experience managing and training junior accountants
- A Bachelor's degree in a business or finance related field
- Xero Advisor certification an advantage
- Australian tax experience essential
- CPA preferred

- At least 3 years experience in accounts preparation

Proficient with
- MS Excel

- Accounting and analytical
- Knowledgeable in Xero Accounting Software, Xero Practice Manager
(XPM) and Xero Workpaper (XWP)
