Job Role
Complying with all company, local, state, and federal accounting and financial regulations.
Compiling, analysing, and reporting financial data.
Creation of Tax payable annual report
Creation of Year-End Financials
Balance Sheet reconciliation
Creating periodic reports, such as balance sheets, profit & loss statements, etc.
Presenting data to managers, investors, and other entities.
Maintaining accurate financial records.
Performing audits and resolving discrepancies.
Computing taxes.
Keeping informed about current legislation relating to finance and accounting.
Assisting management in the decision-making process by preparing budgets and financial forecasts.
Requirements
Minimum 3 years of bookkeeping experience
Must have Australian bookkeeping experience
Must have Australian Payroll experience
Must have Xero experience
Hands-on experience with accounting software like FreshBooks and QuickBooks
Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables
Experience with general ledger functions
Experience with Year-End Financials, PAYG, STP, and GST is required
Experience in creating Tax payable annual report
Experience in creating Income Tax (1100 - 1400)
Proficient in English (both written and spoken)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to manage multiple deadlines
Working knowledge of GAAP.
Good problem-solving and time management skills.
Highly organized and detail-oriented.
In-depth industry knowledge regarding best practices, policies, current regulations, and technology.
Exceptional research, planning, problem-solving, critical thinking, and math skills.
Excellent presentation, collaboration, and verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency with computers, especially bookkeeping or financial software and MS Office.
High level of efficiency, accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.
