Job Summary:
The Tax Accountant will be providing our clients with the most up-to-date information with a quick and accurate response time. The candidate will be working alongside with the Accounting and Administration team. This role will involve tax accounting and customer service tasks.
This role will require a background in accounting and exceptional written communication skills, requiring sound management skills to support the resolution of Client Queries with the attention to detail required for each specific query and/or Client. You will also need a thorough understanding of the time required to complete relevant jobs.
Job Description:
Address incoming client queries
Research client queries and situations
Making response templates for general queries
Prepare responses for general insurance queries
Prepare responses for general Taxation queries
Prepare responses for general Capital Gains Tax queries
Prepare responses for PSI queries
Prepare responses to Payroll queries
Assist teams in answering all client queries
Researching the client's file and providing detailed responses to client queries
Prepare Financials statements and Annual Accounts Preparation for all business structures
SMSF setup and rollover experience
Set up trusts and companies
Prepare /Profit and Loss Sheet
Finalise Payroll/Payslip
Prepare Company and Individual tax returns
Wealth Management (estate planning, tax planning, financial planning)
Requirements
Ability to learn a CRM system - Xero Practice Manager (WorkFlowMax)
AE and MYOB Software experience
Xero Accounting Software
Extensive experience in using Xero and Microsoft Office Suite is preferred
Has experience working in a similar role in the industry for 3+ years
High attention to detail, focused, completes work with accuracy
Good time management skills.
