Our client is an Australian-based fast growing accounting firm and they are looking for an experienced Tax Accountant to support their team with various tax-related tasks.
What you will be doing:
Preparation and Reconciliation of Business Activity Statements (BAS) and Instalment Activity Statements (IAS) for clients
Completion of annual tax returns and financial accounts for individuals, sole traders, partnerships, trusts, and companies
Ensuring compliance with Australian taxation laws and regulations
Assisting with year-end tax reporting and financial statements
Other ad hoc tax-related duties as required
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
2+ years of experience in Australian taxation and compliance
Knowledge of XERO required
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Proven ability to work independently and manage deadlines
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
