We're an Australia-based firm searching for a proactive and dedicated individual to join our team as a Remote Tax Accountant. Job Description:
As a Remote Tax Accountant, your key responsibilities will include:
Preparation of Annual Financial Statements and Income Tax Returns for a variety of entities including Companies, Individuals, Trusts, and SMSFs.
Workpaper preparation, as well as reconciliation of Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss accounts.
Regular bookkeeping tasks to ensure financial data accuracy.
Effective communication with clients, Australian Taxation Office (ATO), and Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC).
Preparation of Activity Statements (BAS/IAS), Taxable Payments Annual Report (TPAR), Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT), Payroll/Single Touch Payroll (STP) and more.
Creation and provision of management reports as required.
Compliance work with ASIC and ATO regulations.
Supportive roles and ad-hoc jobs to assist team members and the Director.
Undertaking other related administrative tasks as needed.
Job Requirements:
Must be available to work from 7 am to 3 pm (local Philippine time).
Possess a reliable computer, headphones, and camera.
Have a stable internet connection to ensure seamless remote work.
Previous experience in Australian tax accounting will be highly appreciated.
