Job Qualifications
Business Degree majoring in Accounting or Commerce
Minimum 5 years tax experience in an Australian based accounting firm
Div 7A loans, capital gains calculations, different business structures
Proven track record working on multiple clients at once
Solid working knowledge of Xero and/or MYOB
Intermediate level of MS Excel spreadsheets
A sound understanding of GST treatment
High level attention to detail
A positive attitude, high degree of initiative, motivation and problem-solving ability
Tech savvy

Preparing and completing of financial statements and tax returns for

Tax Planning work (budgeting, forecasting, tax minimisation solutions)
Review client data files
Liaising with clients
Liaising with external bookkeepers
Client meetings
Mentoring and training a graduate accountant
Review of graduate accountant's work
Assisting the bookkeeping team at peak times with BAS/IAS preparation
Assist the senior bookkeeper with BAS reviews in peak times
Experience:
Australian Tax Accounting: 3 years (Preferred)
Education:
Bachelor's (Preferred)
Language:
English (Preferred)
