Hi! We're Smartsourcing, looking for a Tax Accountant Assistant who can work with us full-time and on-site!
Where?📍 Crown 7 Business Centre, Pope John Paul II Ave, Cebu City, Cebu
Some of the things we expect you to do are to:
Preparing accounts payable and receivable invoices.
Performing the basic accounting functions.
Assisting with the preparation of tax returns.
Analyzing the client's financial records.
Correcting any inaccuracies and errors.
Performing reconciliations of all the reports
Supervising and tracking incomes and expenses.
Validating bank accounts.
Performing data entry and word processing.
Working in collaboration with Accountants and Auditors.
Adhering to all the accounting rules and regulations.
Task focused on transaction reconciliation, expenses review and tax accounting.
Requirements
We would need you to be or have the following:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Management Accounting or related field
Proven experience working as an Accounting Associate or a similar position in the Accounting department
Good understanding of tax laws and regulations
Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and practices
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Ability to solve complex problems
Phenomenal time management skills
Ability to meet deadlines
Excellent decision-making abilities
A close observation of accuracy
Excellent arithmetic and numerical skills
Ability to handle confidential information
Proficiency in accounting software like Xero HubDoc
Proficient in MS Office Tools, Google and HubDoc
Adept at Excel
Outstanding ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
