Enables stakeholders to access information for increased learning and productivity. Provides system support services and maintains the efficiency and effectiveness of the information systems.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Request Assessment
Receives and documents incidents and requests for system support services;
Analyzes the requirements and confirms their validity and correctness of understanding with the Client; and
Provides Client with expected service turnaround time.
2. Support Provisioning
Troubleshoots system issues;
Tracks the progress of resolution and regularly updates the Client with the status;
Verifies with the Client if the issue has been resolved; and
Escalates the system issue to System Support Manager for resolution, if necessary.
3. Support Closure
Gets confirmation of Client that the issue has been resolved; and
Solicits service performance feedback from the Client.
4. System Maintenance
Conducts proactive system maintenance;
Analyzes system support trends and recommends for improvement; and
Recommends for system enhancements, if necessary.
Educational and Professional Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or any related field
Experience and Competency Requirements:
Knowledge in database management using MSSQL Server, Oracle or MySQL
Good understanding of network connectivity, integration and protocols
Knowledge in SSRS or Crystal Reports
