Position Description: We are looking for a highly experienced Systems/ DevOps Engineer with strong experience managing builds and deployments for a large Enterprise Java application. Troubleshoot, debug a Position Description: We are looking for a highly experienced Systems/ DevOps Engineer with strong experience managing builds and deployments for a large Enterprise Java application. Your future duties and responsibilities: . Troubleshoot, debug and resolve build/ deploy issues on a daily basis and support the existing DevOps team in managing releases . Work independently on a day-to-day basis to resolve build/ deploy issues. Work through the application build/ deployment logs to identify the root-cause, and fix the issues . Communicate and work with the software development teams to understand their challenges with application code merges, builds and deployments, and help them to resolve those challenges . Support 5 major, and 10-12 minor releases to production in a year . Responsible for Application infrastructure and server upgrades- WebLogic, Application servers etc. . Manage the configuration of the build infrastructure (Windows and Linux) . Responsible for merge processes, and repository maintenance. Should be able to deploy code to non-production and production systems . Provide leadership and drives improvement of build processes. Review and recommend solutions and tools to improve the software deployment process . Own the process for releasing builds into testing, staging environments and all the up to production . Provide first- and second-level problem resolution of production systems. . Perform day-to-day maintenance tasks for production systems. . Review and analyze system modifications/patches Required qualifications to be successful in this role: . Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or information technology/ systems . 5 or more years of experience with Java development stack- Spring, Spring-boot, JDBC, Maven, Apache Ant, JMS . Experience with full stack java development- Java, Oracle, Angular, Angular JS development . 5+ years of experience automating application releases using Jenkins . 5+ years of experience with Java Enterprise servers, Tomcat, WebLogic . 5+ years of experience developing/ managing CI/CD pipeline . 5+ years of experience with troubleshooting, debugging and resolving build/ deploy issues on a daily basis . 5+ years of experience working with software developers to identify build/ deploy issues and help them to deploy their code to develop /staging branch . Experience with Identity and Access Management systems such as ForgeRock, Access Manager . Experience with Splunk querying, dashboards, visualization. Should have experience using Splunk to find application logs to identify and debug application issues . Must have experience with the following tools/ technologies - Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, WebLogic, JVMs, Tomcat, GIT . Experience with Docker containers as build artifacts. Configuration, provisioning and deployment to production environments. . DevOps mindset and an agile practitioner . Ability to analyze and design enterprise-wide infrastructure technology systems .
