Responsible for defining and managing the scope of Business Systems projects and serving as an expert on at least one of each type of the technologies defined. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: Monitors production incident queues, and participates in standup meetings to prioritize and triage tickets. Partners with clients to understand issues, root cause, preventive measures, and long-term solutions and improvements. Ensures resolution of tickets/issues with internal and external stakeholders. Supports development team and testing team on any requirements questions. Performs Run the Business activities and analyzes production issues. Serves as an IT/engineering resource for the development, SIT and UAT teams for question regarding environments or application deployments, DevOPs activities, and environment planning. Provides patching and systems upgrade support, such as database patches and upgrades, operating system patches and upgrades, and application releases and bug fixes. Monitors day-today processes and production fixes, performs data fixes, executes batch processes, and troubleshoots issues. Maintains system knowledge base, runbooks, and Barometric IT database. Performs research and analysis from system audit activities. Performs process reviews and develops process improvement opportunities. Requires BA/BS in information systems or related field; 6 or more years related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Requires expertise one of the following technologies: WebSphere, IIS, Apache Tomcat; expertise in one of the following DB technologies: DB2, Oracle, MS SQL, Oracle; and expertise in one of the following Server technologies: Unix, Linux, Windows. Certifications preferred.
