Functional overview The succesful candidate will work alongside our international support teams providing trusted and reliable support for our business users. Your role is essential to the successful operation of the IT Infrastructure and ongoing improvements to processes, procedures, and technology. In this role, you will manage and maintain our computers, servers and networks for our corporate teams. Managing the life cycle of infrastructure, hardware, and systems, including upgrades, compliance, licensing requirements, installation, support, maintenance, and troubleshooting, including working with third parties as required. Duties and responsibilities Maintain first class level of customer service within ITIL Service Delivery framework: Ensure tickets are regularly updated and employees and management are updated on Incidents and requests, both verbally and in writing, as required Triage tickets, from staff and alerting systems Perform diagnosis on system problems via phone, remote access or onsite. Provide technical support to employees for issues pertaining to Desktop, Server, Network, Helpdesk and Line of Business Software. Management of corporate endpoints, protection and patching, Windows, Android, iOS Support AV/VC Conferencing (Skype for Business, MS Teams, Zoom, BlueJeans, WebEx etc.) Create and maintain knowledge and technical documentation to ensure information is accurate and up to date including but not limited to Troubleshooting, How to Guides, Operational procedures, Build documentation, Operational acceptance testing documentation and configuration management records Asset refresh, relocation deployment and decommission maintaining data integrity within the CMDB Assist in producing monthly IT reports Perform routine maintenance functions, including audits and system maintenance. Install and configure workstations Complete special projects as assigned or assist other team members in the completion of projects or support issues as necessary and communicate effectively with customers. Ensuring timesheets are updated and completed as required Participate in projects, meeting project deliverables Deployment of infrastructure (on-premises and cloud) Mentoring staff within the team with your technical knowledge Track and maintain hardware and software inventory Work in accordance with the corporate policies and processes Perform other tasks and responsibilities as assigned by line manger After Hours work required on a planned basis Other duties as required by your manager Minimum competencies 5+ years' experience in IT systems administration roles Experience in ITIL environments Hands on Experience with : Operating systems (Microsoft Server and Desktop, Linux) IDP (Active Directory, 2FA Authority technologies) Configuration and management of storage, network equipment, LAN and WAN Setup and management of an enterprise grade backup and recovery procedures, Configuration and use of system performance monitoring tool O365, SharePoint and other MS packages Setup and configuration of Desktop Management tools (MDM) Experience with management of private and public cloud infrastructure Expertise with implementing, configuring, and testing of technology solutions Strong creative and analytical thinking Minimum qualifications Degree or equivalent in technology or computer science Professional certifications Advantageous (i.e. Microsoft, CCNA etc)
