IT Roles and Responsibilities:
Infrastructure Management: Overseeing the maintenance, configuration, and security of the company's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and data storage systems.
Network Administration: Designing, implementing, and maintaining the company's network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
Security Management: Implementing and maintaining robust security measures to safeguard the company's data, networks, and systems against unauthorized access, malware, and other threats.
Backup and Disaster Recovery: Developing and implementing backup strategies and disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity in the event of system failures or data loss.
User Support: Providing technical support to end-users, addressing their IT-related queries, troubleshooting issues, and assisting with hardware and software installations.
Operations: Ensuring the day-to-day functioning of IT systems and infrastructure, including the smooth operation of hardware, software, networks, and other IT resources.
Management: Overseeing the overall IT strategy, planning, and implementation within the organization, including IT management, implementation cost review, resource allocation, and coordination.
Administration: Managing tasks related to the maintenance and management of IT systems and resources, such as user management, system configuration, software installation and updates, troubleshooting, and overall system maintenance.
Security: Focusing on protecting the organization's IT assets from unauthorized access, data breaches, and other security threats through the implementation of security measures, access controls, and security policies.
Data: Handling and organizing the organization's data assets, including data storage, backup and recovery, data quality assurance, data governance, and ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.
Development (R&D): Engaging in research and development activities within the IT, exploring and implementing new technologies, conducting experiments, prototyping, software development, and enhancing existing systems.
