We are looking for a confident System Administrator to join our internal team.
Responsibilities:
Knowledge of technical architecture for automation;
Manages, fulfills, and/or escalates IT Helpdesk tickets;
Provides troubleshooting for servers, network devices, and firewall configurations;
Provide basic PC troubleshooting and software installation for clients and end-users;
Set up accounts and workstations;
Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements;
Upgrade systems with new releases and models;
Develop expertise to train staff on new technologies;
Build an internal wiki with technical documentation, manuals and IT policies;
Setup AWS workspaces;
Manage Windows Server;
Responds to problems and concerns received from the different sites, clients and provides solutions via remote management;
Evaluates, recommends and provides justification for purchase of hardware and software solutions.
Requirements
Proven experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator or similar role;
Experience with databases, networks (LAN, WAN) and patch management;
Ability to create scripts in Python, Perl or other language;
Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms;
Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude;
Excellent English verbal and written skills;
Must have experience with Amazon workspace;
Experience with Windows 2016 server (Active directory & GPO management);
Organized, systematic, and able to work autonomously;
Strong time management skills - ability to prioritize and meet deadlines;
Strong work ethic - must be self-motivated and able to take the initiative to get the job done.
