In Windows and Linux:
The basic functions include all features needed to run applications and contain all activities to guarantee operation according to the ordered service.
Capacity planning, performance management, network connections, maintenance, and security updates. File-level backup is mandatory.
Other Tasks
Storage & Backup services provide SAN storage services in mid-range and high end as well as network attached storage (NAS).
Develop and deploy security plan for Enterprise consisting of firewall, antivirus software, VPN, usage policies, software patching and security updates.
Ensures successful implementation and maintenance of the defined standards.
Performs regular security monitoring to identify any possible intrusions.
Performs implementation activities such as program promotions, installation of the system, training, and tutorial of end-users.
Apply OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis, and upgrade administrative tools and utilities. Configure/add new services as necessary.
Upgrade and configure system software that supports IT infrastructure applications or Asset Management applications per project or operational needs.
Perform ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization as required. Configure CPU, memory, and disk partitions as required. Maintain data center environmental and monitoring equipment.
Graduate of a BS Computer Science/ Engineering or BS Math, or equivalent
At least two years of system administration experience.
Systems Administration/System Engineer certification in Linux and Microsoft, optional
Experience Administering Windows Active Directory and Domain environment
Experience in MS Exchange
At least 2 years experience as a Windows and Linux Administrator
Basic Networking and internet administration experience in a network setting and configuring network devices such as Cisco, Firewall, HP and others
Basic knowledge in database administratiBon - Oracle, MySQL, MSSQL
Experience in Active directory(MS Windows 2003/2008/2012) administration and setup
Network and Internet security knowledge.
Experience in Administering and setting up VOIP solutions and systems
