About the role
TnF Process Engineer is a position responsible for the line sustaining, Machine and material qualification and can perform root cause analysis, technical simulation studies and corrective actions for Customer Complaints and line chronic issues.
What you will do
Ensure productivity improvements through process changes, document, as well as implement process capability and work with Equipment Engineers to maximize productivity of the equipment.
Monitor process performance indices on qualified processes and establish good controls to maintain process performance. Improve on qualified processes using quality improvement tools.
Perform rootcause analysis and investigation report in 8D format for any bad material that customer received.
Creates DFMEA, PFMEA in Assembly and Test, OCAP, Work Instruction, SPC and Control Plan.
Create and revised line process documents and ensure implementation of all manufacturing control and procedures are well documented, align and religiously follow by all concern person in the specific process.
Conduct training and development of manufacturing processes and changes to all operators and technicians.
Have hands-on knowledge with the TnF equipment like HANMI , HD Semitech & ASM or equivalent
Responsible / support for the Capacity increase, package transfer and qualification of backup products within plant site.
Responsible in collaborating with Equipment Engineering to ensure all equipment are properly maintained and controls are implemented.
Responsible for validating new products and processes and making sure metrics and indices are met for high volume production.
Responsible in creating, reviewing, updating and ensuring that all activities in the area are Safe (to user, equipment, product & environment), Lean (simple and have very minimal permanent non-value-adding activities), Optimal (output & quality), Controlled and/or monitored and are documented through process flows, work instructions, OCAPs, FMEAs, Control Plans, log sheets, etc., as applicable.
Develop and grow technical competencies within department

The incumbent must have the following:
Proficient in various problem solving tools & process optimization techniques and other related quality tools (i.e. 8D, SPC, DOE, FMEA etc.)
Proficient in using statistical tools (Minitab, Statistics, SpotFire, etc)
Team player, ability to work in a fast-paced environment and with cross-functional teams
Good communication and reporting skills
Deep electronics fundamentals (i.e Transistors, Power MOS)
Project management skills
