Purpose of the Job:
To manage the product & configuration engineers and support the production line ensuring that all product conforms with the master engineering data, supporting product variations and making suggestions for improvements•
Key Responsibilities:
Management of the Product & configuration engineers to ensure that the product is delivered on time and in full conformance with the approved engineering data•Handles Engineering Change Notice (ECN) and analyze impact to the whole organization and ensures smooth implementation of changes•Chairs Change Control Board (CCB) meeting to ensure all changes are communicated and implemented across the entire organization.•Configuration Management of all materials and processes•Full compliance with the engineering data pack and processes that support the quality management systems and appropriate approvals•Management of all change process associated with product and processes•Implementation of new customer head of versions within the production environment•Involve in raising NCR's, LBIR/PR, concessions, source inspection, FAI, and other quality aspects.•On-going development of all engineering systems, document process, and create desktop procedures•Continuous Improvement of all processes implementing smart solutions•Ensure KPI's / metrics of the team are met •All other tasks that are deemed appropriate by line manager
Required Qualifications:
Degree in Engineering•Working in a manufacturing environment with modelled engineering data and configuration control through a PLM system•Understanding of complex bill of materials & tolerances of components and assemblies•Knowledgeable in Manufacturing Assembly Processes, Process sheets, work instructions•Continuous Improvement of products for manufacturing•Excellent Communication and Computer skills•With Excellent Teamwork & Leadership Skills•Keen on details, result driven, passionate, good working attitude•Highly analytical & very keen on details •Preferably with experience in using Team Center or other PLM system •Able to make decisions and be accountable for product conformance•Preferably with Supervisory experience
