Job Description
Manage the entire process of the supply chain from purchase, storage, distribution and display.
Dictate policies on inventory control, logistics and distribution, ensuring effectively-functioning processes to avoid costly delays and lost opportunities.
Preparing and implementing plans to maintain required stock levels at minimum cost.
Operating recording systems to track all movements of inventory, and ensuring re-ordering and re-stocking at optimal times.
Liaise with suppliers to arrange promotions & strategize to move slow moving stock via promotions & marketing ideas, to ensure all stock procured are moving and sold.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 5 year(s) of working experience is required.
Candidates must be a Bachelor's / College Degree holder in Business Studies/Administration/Management or similar fields.
Must have 3 years experience as a Manager in Supply & Distribution and Procurement for Supermarket and Department Stores.
Experience in business management, retail management, back-office system administration or related experience.
Ability and experience in managing the entire process of the supply chain from purchase, storage, distribution and display.
Strong organizational skills, time management skills, strong ability to multi-task, follow-up & manage competing priorities independently; Passion for problem solving and ability to navigate
Proficient in MS Office: Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point.
Trendy- able to identify new trends in the market and set the market pace; Ability to work flexible schedule during weekdays and weekends as dictated by business needs.
