SUPPLY CHAIN MATERIALS AND LOGISTICS OFFICER (SCML Officer)
 
The Supply Chain Materials and Logistics Officer generally develops, maintains, and operates an effective, working, and transparent Supply Chain/Logistics structure for RTTPI that is simple, low-cost, and efficient. He manages the logistic activities of the Company to ensure achievement of cost, productivity, accuracy, or timeliness objectives.
 
On a daily basis , he :
Plans or implements improvements to internal or external logistics systems or processes including the development of risk management in case of emergencies.
As a Compliance Officer, serve as Pollution Control Officer (PCO) Complies with RTTPI & Customer OHS and Environmental Policies and Procedures, which includes the necessary documentation
Resolves problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, imports or exports, or customer issues.
Handles and manages the end-to-end logistics and supply chain process and follows-up orders from clients to suppliers and vice-versa.
Analyzes the financial impact logistics and of proposed logistics changes, such as routing, shipping modes, product volumes or mixes, or carriers.
Ensures that required products are ordered timely by providing accurate routing information
Obtain quotes for different suppliers, transportation, making cost comparisons, and negotiating price deals to reduce costs and achieve maximum efficiency
Monitors product import or export processes to ensure compliance with regulatory or legal requirements.
Performs other related tasks as may be assigned from time to time
Qualifications:
Must have had some previous experience in the same position for at least two (2) years
Must have had previous experience as a Pollution Control Officer (PCO)
Preferably a Safety Officer or has had some BOSH and OSH Trainings
Preferably an Engineering or Business Management graduate
Must be good in MS Office applications
Must be good with Compliance and Compliance Monitoring
Must be very knowledgeable with warehousing and Supply Chain Management systems and procedures
Must have good time management and organizational skills
Must be available as soon as possible
