Our client sells medical devices to dermatologists, beauty salons and other skin-related businesses within Australia. Each device is bulky, and contains electronics, so the shipment of a device needs to be done with great care and precision.
They are seeking a home-based supply chain manager to manage all the inbound and outbound shipments from the local warehouse to their customers. This would include checking freight routes, as well as liaising with the local warehouse to ensure they have full visibility of the inbound shipments.
Requirements
Manage all inbound shipment planning and clearing
Create freight bookings and ensure the inventory system is updated (Dear Inventory system)
Manage the returns of any units from customers
Assist with the logistics of any devices needing servicing and repairs
You will also be the first line of support to assist customers wanting to know shipping status of their device, so you will be on the phones throughout the day.
You will have
Minimum 3 years freight and logistics experience
Excellent written and spoken English
High attention to detail, ensuring all information is provided for shipments
Excellent level of organisation
Prior experience within a similar role for an Australian business will help you get shortlisted
