We have a superb opportunity for a Supply Chain and Logistics Consulting Expert responsible for industry outreach and go to market strategies, providing domain expertise, supporting product development and consulting opportunities focused around supply chain domain offerings. Further, the Lead will assist with a variety of related initiatives and tasks related to CGI Federal supply chain strategy and will partner closely with CGI teams and customers. Your future duties and responsibilities: . Providing client facing engagement representing CGI business interests . Supporting CGI in defining new client business requirements and provide advice to technical team members . Supporting IT innovation bringing new business opportunities to CGI . Supporting CGI and clients in IT delivery, transition and business change activities . Designing and maintaining a high level of supply chain expertise in the practice . Promoting visibility of expertise internally, globally across CGI, and with customers . Supporting proposals and evolving supply chain solution offerings . Establishing partnerships with CGI business units to build strong, trusting, collaborative, relationships . Acting as a trusted advisor and transformative leader to enhance and implement Supply Chain services . Supporting CGI sponsored speaking engagements and represent CGI at Industry events Required qualifications to be successful in this role: . BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or equivalent experience, along with 12+ years team/organizational management . Experience leading multi-disciplinary project teams and personnel in the areas of supply chain policy, planning and support, and supply chain engineering. . Experience as a Director/Senior Manager of a supply chain practice in support of Federal programs highly preferred . Experience supporting medical supply chain initiatives and/ or defense logistics programs . Keeps up-to-date with guidance, standard methodologies, trends and developments in the supply chain domain. . Strong decision making, judgment and analytical skills. . Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate with multi-functional, geographically dispersed teams. . Customer-service oriented with a problem-solving attitude. . Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills. . Ability to communicate effectively to technical, non-technical, and executive levels. . Demonstrable ability to build and maintain effective relationships with all stakeholders, particularly from a service focus/service quality standpoint. .
