What are we looking for:
Multiplymii is in search of a Supply Chain Analyst, who will work with our client partner - a tech-forward consumer products company that acquires and grows online brands across the pet, home & kitchen, beauty & personal care, and fitness, sports & outdoor categories. You would be joining a team of seasoned leaders who have over 23 years of Amazon marketplace experience as well as experience in billion-dollar direct to consumer, local & international, retail & omnichannel operations, and brand-building having grown brands from scratch to over $1B.
Beyond your experience, we are also looking for someone who is professional and possesses impeccable English communication in written and verbal form.
This role is 100% work from home.
In this role you will:
Manage inventory availability and inventory health with a focus on in-stock rate, excess inventory, inventory age, and shrink reduction.
Understand sales velocity, seasonality, and out of stock risk - ultimately delivering an accurate demand planning and forecasting process by SKU for a brand
Forecast and manage efficient inbound and outbound inventory flows and health, including forecasting and purchasing. Analyze inventory position and SKU performance to determine inventory liability and exit strategy for unproductive inventory
Work with internal teams to help drive tools and process improvements that affect inventory management workflow, with emphasis on automating tasks that are currently performed manually.
Review their inventory management system to optimize inventory control procedures
Examine the levels of supplies and raw material to determine shortages
Prepare detailed reports on inventory operations, stock levels, and adjustments
Provide detailed recommendations on re-ordering plans to maximize container space, inventory turns, and cash flow
Document daily deliveries and shipments to update inventory
Communicate with suppliers and delivery partners to ensure changing requirements are met in a timely manner
Ensure dynamic response to Amazon FBA inventory limits and supply chain challenges to update everchanging forecasting and communication requirements
Look at trends and seasonality for clients at a weekly/bi-weekly - if something has x months left of stock, the client needs to deliver
Perform daily analysis to predict potential inventory problems
Improve analysis and reporting capability, including dashboard development, analysis, and reporting a big plus
Provide strategic recommendations to the CEO based on analysis and projections
Write and submit reports to the CEO in matters of importance
Ad-hoc tasks and reporting as needed.
About You:
A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, Statistics, or related discipline is preferred.
Experience in demand planning, and working backwards from forecasts to manage inventory levels.
Baseline understanding of e-commerce supply chain operations.
Strong analytical skills, comfortable with large data sets and rapid experimentation - able to take raw, unfamiliar data sets and be able to draw useful conclusions and actionable insights.
Highly organized with critical attention to detail and impossibly high standards.
Clear and concise written and oral communication skills.
Experience working cross-functionally and/or in matrixed organizations.
Amazon experience is highly preferred but not required.
Shift: US East Coast (business hours)
