Here's a summary of what you will be doing in this job: The Retail Designer/Architect creates designs for new construction projects, alterations, and redevelopments related to SEAOIL's retail station network. He/she uses his/her design and construction knowledge as well as his/her high-level drawing skills to design structures that are functional, safe, sustainable, and aesthetically pleasing. Success in the role will require you to fulfill the following responsibilities: 1. Develop projects from early concept through design development 2. Prepare drawings, specifications, and construction documents 3. Design and document station and NFR structures 4. Consult with different departments to determine their requirements 5. Coordinate preliminary architectural studies for major new structures and alterations to existing structures and site development 6. Work with teams across business lines, in remote locations, and coordinate with architectural and construction firms 7. Resolve complex design issues with innovative and practical solutions Preferred Qualifications for the Role: Graduate of Bachelor's degree Architecture, Civil Engineering, Interior Design or equivalent, and from reputable universities. With at least 2 years of work experience in an architectural firm or design company With background in Retail, Mall or Commercial Industries Having a PRC License is an advantage Critical Expertise and skills: Demonstrates strong attention to details and adaptability/flexibility Above average verbal and written communication skills Working knowledge of AUTOCAD, Sketch Up, MS Excel, web-based Google Workspace (formerly, G Suite, and comprises of spreadsheets, documents, and presentations) Realistic Job Preview: A day in the life of an Architect (Retail Station Designer) in SEAOIL would involve: 1. Providing Design and Drawing requirements 2. May be required to do fieldwork from time to time Expectations from Candidates: Candidates who are invited for HR screening will need to undergo and pass an online exam and/or technical exam, and accomplish HR documents, personality tests, and essay exams before proceeding to the HR interview. Candidates who pass the HR interview would then need to submit soft copies of their available pre-employment requirements, such as the Transcript of Records, Diploma, and NBI clearance. In the event candidates are hired, they would be required to submit hard copies of all the pre-employment requirements and pass the medical exam and background check before onboarding.
