SUBROGATION CARGO CLAIMS AGENT
A. OBJECTIVE
This position is responsible for administering the closed cargo claims and their respective subrogation needs as required. This includes but is not limited to gathering and researching all documents associated with a closed claim in an urgent but detailed fashion.
B. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Review Closed Claims that are submitted via the Claims Desk at radiant.carrierclaims.com
Follow-up on Notice of Intents (NOI's) Letters sent to Carriers involved in the transportation that resulted in a claim.
Upload Subrogation denial letters to the claims desk and document the claim notes with carrier denial notification.
Submit requested claim paperwork requested by the Carrier to process the Subrogation claim.
When subrogation payments are received via mail or ACH payment upload copy of payment and check or ACH number to the Subrogation tab on the claims desk.
Subject Matter Expert for subrogation cargo claims at RGL and all subsidiary companies.
Develop working relationships with key Radiant carriers that may be involved in a cargo claim to expedite claim processing or subrogation settlements.
Foster an environment of continuous improvement throughout the organization by embracing process improvement, quality metrics, technology, and change management to meet and exceed claims and quality objectives.
Report subrogation statistics as required or requested by management.
Additional Tasks:
Validate that all necessary requirements are met when a station is requesting a vendor, including knowledge of W9 and Certificate of Insurance (COI).
Look up information as needed to ensure the vendor profile is complete and updated.
Perform entry of the vendor profile into our different platforms (CW and TM); familiarity with both systems is a plus.
Respond to emails sent to [Protected Info].
Work in Veroot to capture address updates and ensure updates to end-user platforms; escalate all remit-to address changes to the ECC team.
Validate safety ratings for carriers before setting up vendor profiles.
Assist with vendor not found tickets.
Help identify stations on tracking emails from carriers and forward them to the correct station.
Veroot - Vendor Management Side:
Bring Vendors up to compliance regarding current W9, COI's, Quick Pay Form, ACH Form, Carrier Profile, Vendor Agreement.
Cross-check profile address, email, phone number, and contact name with CW, TM, and SBA shipping portals.
KSMS Unknown Shipper Reports - Update CW, TM, SBA.
Issue COIs for Server Rack Shipments.
Claims Desk - Request missing documents on open claims.
Claims Desk - Send documents to carriers for subrogating claims.
