SUB ASSEMBLY OPERATOR The Sub Assembly Operator is expected to understand the business objectives, follow standard work instructions, to find and fix problems, continuously seek improvements on various processes and standards; and utilize a wide variety of manufacturing tools (i.e., 5S, Lean concept, Visual management, 6 sigma and other improvement tools applicable). The Sub Assembly Operator support the Sectors by supplying aluminum bodies, manifolds, piece parts, centerline parts and BSAs to the Assembly and Test Area for Servovalve and servo control actuators Production in line with the company's goal to achieve good Quality, Cost and Delivery. This role will require someone who has a great focus on quality and can demonstrate a Zero-Defect Mindset where he/she will commit to do things right the first time, every time; creating a work environment where nearly right and good enough are not acceptable. Minimum Requirements: Education & Experience: Completed 3rd year engineering or related course + general machine shop course; or Technology graduate major in machine shop (3 yrs.); or Engineering graduate or related course graduate + 1 year machining experience Engineering + 2 years machining experience or Engineering + machine shop course Skills and Knowledge: Blueprint reading Metrology Working knowledge of the Lean Management System, Problem Solving and Continuous Improvement as well as Zero Defect Mindset supporting the Moog Quality System.
