Position Title: Structural Engineer / Architect
Salary Grade: 55,000 - 75,000 PHP a month
Reports To: Partner, Partner Advisor
Primary Relationships: Partner Team
Date: September 2023
Schedule: 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM PH Time
Responsibilities:
Develop and design structural plans, blueprints, and specifications for a wide range of construction projects, considering both functional and aesthetic aspects
Perform structural analysis using advanced software tools to evaluate the integrity, stability, and load-bearing capacity of buildings and other structures
Collaborate with architects, construction teams, and other professionals to integrate structural solutions seamlessly into overall designs
Ensure designs comply with relevant codes, regulations, and industry standards, taking into account safety, environmental impact, and accessibility requirements
Provide guidance and support during the construction phase, responding to site challenges and making necessary adjustments to designs as needed
Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction progress, quality, and adherence to the structural plans
Prepare comprehensive reports, documentation, and presentations for clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies
Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in structural engineering and architecture
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. Master's degree preferred
Professional licensure as a Structural Engineer or Architect is required
Years of experience in structural engineering and architectural design
Proficient in using structural analysis software and CAD tools
Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction practices
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Effective communication and collaboration abilities
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Portfolio showcasing previous architectural and structural design work is a plus
