Structural Designer
Job Description:
• Utilize advanced 3D modeling software and tools to create detailed structural designs for buildings, bridges, industrial facilities, and other construction projects.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements, design constraints, and specifications.
• Develop drawings, plans, and blueprints, adhering to industry standards and regulations.
• Optimize structural designs for efficiency, durability, and cost-effectiveness, while ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Participate in design reviews, providing valuable insights and recommendations to improve the overall quality and functionality of structures.
• Collaborate with the construction team to address any design-related issues that may arise during the construction phase.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements and trends in structural design and 3D modeling techniques, incorporating them into the design process where applicable.
• Ensure accurate documentation and record-keeping of design changes, project milestones, and other relevant information.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, Architecture, or related.
• Proven work experience as a Structural Designer.
• Proficiency in using standard 3D modeling software.
• Strong understanding of structural engineering principles, codes, and regulations.
• Ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings and translate them into accurate 3D models.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
