Develops and executes category strategies aligned with plant and business unit goals, while leading sourcing activities and resolving procurement issues. Ensures compliance with global policies and best practices across TE and its supply base. Manages contracts, purchase orders, GR/IR variances, and stakeholder concerns, with strong proficiency in SAP procurement processes.Job RequirementsKey Responsibilities:
Drives cost savings on indirect purchase commodities.
Conducts Competitive Bids (RFQ packages execution, Negotiation)
Build strong relationships with strategic suppliers to optimize performance.
Develops, executes category strategies, ensuring alignment with plant and BU objectives
Leads and executes the Sourcing Steps
Clears the path to issues related to procurement activities
Ensures and promotes adherence to global processes, policies, procedures, and best practices within TE and extends to the supply base
Manages open P.O. review, GR/IR variances, and stakeholders' concerns.
Manage new and existing contracts and ensure proper approval
Knowledgeable on SAP procurement-related transactions
Qualifications:Education
Business/Engineering Course
Other Requirement
Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
Experience in working with SAP systems and sourcing tools.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving abilities
Experience with global sourcing and supplier development.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Working conditions are normal for an office environment. Required to report to the office every day.
