Are you ready to take on an exciting and dynamic role in Group Procurement We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Strategic Procurement Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for executing strategic sourcing projects, driving savings, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring the reliability of our supply base.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the way: You will execute Group Procurement sourcing strategies and planned actions for the assigned Category in the assigned cluster. Your efforts will be in line with our established and aligned Group Procurement agenda, bringing a fresh perspective to the table.
Strategic planning: You will play a crucial role in developing strategic sourcing projects to deliver targeted savings and other key performance indicators (KPIs). By focusing on cash flow improvement, risk management, and compliance, you will contribute to the success of the assigned category within the cluster.
Collaborative partnerships: Collaboration is key in this role. You will work closely with key stakeholders from other functions to lead assigned projects and ensure timely achievement of objectives. Sharing periodic reports on project status will be essential to maintain progress and keep everyone informed.
Supply base excellence: Ensuring a reliable supply base is at the core of this role. You will evaluate suppliers, manage supplier relationships, and proactively address any supply risks. Business continuity will be a top priority as you strive to maintain seamless operations.
Customer-centric approach: Your ability to interface and partner with users will be critical. By understanding their needs and delivering continuous value, you will contribute to a high level of customer service. You will be the bridge between our internal stakeholders and the procurement function.
Contract ownership: As the owner of contract execution, you will ensure suppliers comply with contracted terms and conditions. Your attention to detail and proactive approach will be instrumental in driving compliance and maximizing value for the organization.
Driving innovation: In collaboration with the Group Category Lead, you will help drive innovation by engaging with suppliers and providing local knowledge. Your contribution will be vital in shaping our procurement practices and exploring new opportunities.
Role Responsibility:
In addition to the functional responsibilities, you will have the opportunity to strengthen AirAsia's brand image and customer advocacy. By promoting our culture and values, both internally and externally, you will play a pivotal role in building a positive reputation for AirAsia.
As the voice of the Group Procurement Category Lead, you will have the chance to develop your Category subject matter expertise. Your due diligence and attention to detail will ensure the completeness, accuracy, and timely delivery of actions.
We strive for excellence in Procurement, and you will be a key player in achieving this goal. You will take ownership of commercial and process activities related to Category sourcing in the Cluster, driving efficiency and optimization.
