JOB PURPOSE
The job is responsible for the design, development, cascade and implementation of the
Construction Materials Group's overall Marketing directions and strategies through proactive
market research, monitoring, and conducting field studies and evaluation, specifically in the
category and channel development.
The job is responsible for the channel & category development to drive increased brand
penetration and profitable sales. It is responsible for operating programs for trade marketing
efficiency and effectiveness while continually looking for growth opportunities while promoting
its brand, and aligns its strategies to ensure plans meet the market needs & maximize the
return on trade spend.
JOB SCOPE
Manage & lead the development & implementation of marketing, advertising &
a promotional campaign that is consistent & aligned with our brand positioning and will
effectively communicate brand meaning, enable the growth of market share &
increase our brand equity. Develop specific performance measures and implement
remedial/alternative action plans when marketing objectives fall short of expectation
Track usage & effectiveness of each marketing initiative, identify and implement best
practices, report on the performance & market reception, ensure that all materials are
aligned with corporate objectives & policies.
Oversee the development of the trade category plan on identified channels.
Convert customers & buyers to assigned channels. Translate insights into business
building opportunities within specific customers/channels.
