STORE SUPERVISOR
 
Job purpose
Manages all aspects of the store operations. Expected to deliver a high-quality experience to the guests and motivate the staff to ensure excellent customer service. Supervisors will be responsible for maintaining quality and increasing profitability. Exceptional management skills and a strong understanding of customer service are a must.
Duties and responsibilities
Oversee all front and back of the house restaurant operations
Ensure customer satisfaction through promoting excellent service; respond to customer complaints tactfully and professionally
Maintain quality control for all food served
Analyze staff evaluations and feedback to improve the customer's experience
Project future needs for goods, kitchen supplies, and cleaning products; order accordingly
Oversee health code compliance and sanitation standards
Seek ways to cut waste and decrease operational costs
Generate weekly, monthly, and annual reports
Train new employees and provide ongoing training for all staff.
Setting goals for performance and deadlines in ways that comply with company's plans and vision
Organizing workflow and ensuring that employees understand their duties or delegated tasks
Monitoring staff productivity and providing constructive feedback and coaching
Pass on information from upper management to employees and vice versa
Prepare and submit performance reports
Decide on reward and promotion based on performance
Ensure adherence to legal and company policies and procedures and undertake disciplinary actions if the need arises
Qualifications
Proven experience as supervisor or relevant role
Familiarity with company policies and legal guidelines of the field
Ability to learn a variety of job descriptions
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Outstanding organizational and leadership skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to negotiate, establish, and process contracts
Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
Accurate and precise attention to detail
Able to make decisions in a fast-paced environment
Knowledgeable in basic General Manufacturing Process, Basic Food Safety and HACCP.
