Job Description:
 
A Store Operations Supervisor is responsible for daily management of a Breeders Agrivet Supplies Inc.’s store. He/she ensures the smooth process of wholesale and retail sales within the premises of the branch. He/she is able to guide a customer in his purchase confidently. Finally, he/she makes sure the team assigned to the branch (CTS, JSA, Sales technicians) reach their sales objectives, performs services like Artificial Insemination, and are motivated always.
 
Role and Responsibilities:
The Store Operations Supervisor reports daily to his Operations Head. He/she will occasionally report to the Operations Head of his area.
Deliver excellent service to ensure customer satisfaction at our branches.
Motivate the sales team to meet sales objectives by training and mentoring.
Submit monthly reports to the Home Office.
Ensure store compliance with inventory, cash handling, credit management practices of the company.
Support the company’s effort in collecting payments from customers when necessary
Arrange promotional material and in-store displays as guided by the home office.
Monitor products inventory levels and re-order new items as guided by the home office.
Responsible of opening and closing the store daily
Makes sure the store is cleanly maintained always and respects standard health and security requirement for himself/herself, his/her team and the customers.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
College graduate in Business Administration with a minimum of 3 years’ proven experience in cashier or store retail operations in general. Having a background in feeds business, animal husbandry or animal nutrition or in retail of an Agrivet supplies store is a plus.
Has or / Willing to gain an excellent knowledge about our different products and their specificities
Is commercially savvy and understands mechanics of promotions and sales
Willing to travel and be assigned anywhere in the Visayas.
Performance Indicators:
Must sell a minimum target of feed bags – above the minimum is subject to incentives
Must reach the monthly sales target of his/her store – above the target is subject to incentives
Must assist the sales team in performing minimum Artificial inseminations – above the minimum is subject to incentives
Preferred Skills:
Displays leadership and is customer-oriented on a daily basis
Has experience running a small business in challenging environments
Is able to perform under pressure
Is well organized and pays close attention to details
Displays a good spoken and written communication
Handles customer feedback or complaints immediately and rationally
Has good personal standards (cleanliness, punctuality and affable personality)
