STORE MANAGER
JOB SUMMARY:
The Store Manager is responsible for the overall performance and profitability of a retail store. They oversee daily operations, including sales, customer service, inventory management, and staff supervision. They also maintain visual merchandising standards, manages inventory levels, and ensures the store's compliance with company policies and procedures. They also handle customer complaints and resolve issues to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prepares and monitors schedules of sales staff
Supervises sales staff and assists them in handling questions/complaints/escalations
Trains sales staff in product knowledge and in maximizing sales opportunities with customers
Ensures sales staff comply with company policies and escalates accordingly
Ensures maintenance of professional and excellent service
Submits sales and inventory reports for the General Manager , makes recommendations as applicable to maximize sales and profitability
Communicates all employee relations issues, concerns, and incidents to General Manager
Works with direct reports to establish performance goals and objectives for each year and monitor and advise on the progress to enhance the professional development of staff
Performs other tasks as maybe assigned from time to time.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in any Business , Marketing or any related course
At least 5 years supervisory or managerial experience in retail sales/operations.
Strong customer service skills
Superior management skills
High level of flexibility
Ability to adapt to different customers
Great written and verbal communication skills
Natural talent for motivating and developing teams
Work Schedule:
Shifting schedules, as well as rest days and other necessary schedules are to be discussed upon interview.
