STOCKMAN / CASHIER
Summary of Functions
A Store Cashier/Stockman is responsible for receiving merchandise, stocking shelves, and helping customers place order and sales transaction.
Functions:
Handle cash, credit or check transactions of customers
Count money in cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate change
Resolve customer complaints, guide them and provide relevant information
Pleasantly deal with customers to ensure satisfaction
Assists customers in their purchases
Handle cash, credit or check transactions with customers
Process returns and check to see if items are damage
Stocks shelves with unpacked items.
Ensures label is clear and visible.
Accepts delivered packages
Job Requirements:
At least college level in any field.
Preferably with at least 1 year(s) of working experience in cashiering is preferred
Basic PC knowledge
Familiarity with electronic equipment, like cash register and POS
Good math skills
Can work with minimum supervision
Hardworking, honest and responsible
Excellent customer service
Love for baking and cooking is a plus
