Job Description
Fabricators work closely alongside steel detailers and drafters, who provide detailed drawings and designs which fabricators essentially bring to life.
adhering to a production schedule, ensuring that all parts are properly fitted, aligned and secured and ensuring that safety standards are always met, among other duties.
responsible for joining metal using a variety of techniques, often to form new structures.
Duties may include cutting and welding materials according to technical plans created by other construction professionals.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 2 year(s) of working experience is required.
Candidates must be a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in Engineering(Metal Fabrication/Tool & Die/Welding) or similar fields.
Male applicants are preferred for this role.
use various techniques to turn basic steel sections into predefined shapes, ready to be implemented in construction.
