We wish to inform you that DSWD Field Office VII, Cebu City has one (1) vacant Contractual position:
TERMS OF REFERENCE
(1)Statistician II (1 slot)
Salary Grade: 15
Status of Employment: Contractual
Location/Office: PPD/NHTS-PR
Program/Division/Unit:PPD/NHTS-PR
Minimum Qualification Standards:
Education:Bachelor's Degree relevant to the job
Training:One (1) year of relevant experience
Experience:Four (4) hours of relevant training
Eligibility:None Required
Preferred Qualification Standards:
Education:Graduate of Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, __________________Economics, Demography and other related four (4) __________________year courses
Training:Completed training courses on data visualization, ______________________________interpretation and report-mining and analysis
Experience:
-At least one (1) year experience on the basic statistical method use of statistical software such as SPSS, Stata and other tools in data mining or analysis
-Coordination with stakeholders, development partners and institution on the data shared
-Preparation of statistical and technical report
Eligibility: CS Professional/Second Level Eligibility
Job Functions:
Facilitate requests for statistical data and other poverty related reports that would assist various internal and external users/stakeholders in the implementation of social protection programs
Generate statistical reports for Regional Profile of the Poor from the updated Listahanan database results
Process data received from IT Division and provide feedback on the strengths and
limitations of the results
Assist in the preparation of reports (quarterly, semestral, annual), presentation materials, and other related documents (communication letters, minutes of the meeting, activity proposal, etc.)
Provide technical assistance regarding the regional profile of the poor, data generation, and other statistics-related concerns
Data tracking of incoming and outgoing section / division documents and
Perform other tasks and functions assigned by superiors and higher authorities
