SUMMARY OF ROLE
Maxeonis looking for aStaff Facilities Sustaining Engineerwho will manage the 24/7 operation of facilities sustaining, preventive maintenance of equipment, machinery, and other facilities equipment. Plans and schedules facilities activities. Designs and develops organizational policies relevant to the facilities sustaining operation. Oversees the coordination of inter-department and other related parties. May have responsibility for establishing and overseeing health and safety standards including the compliance of legal requirements. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Manages all the Facilities Sustaining Supervisors.
Manages the overall utilities operations and maintenance to ensure stability and continuous supply of utilities to Manufacturing.
Collaboration with FED engineers, manufacturing leaders, process and equipment engineers for the facility status and issues
Supports day-to-day efforts necessary to achieve the business plan and to satisfy the needs of customers.
Directs and provides expertise within functional area teams and participates in cross-functional initiatives.
Serves as point of escalation for direct reports
Conducts daily operation meeting for Facilities operation status such as utilities usage and consumption, critical parameters, and issues.
Complies at all times the Environment, Health and Safety and Manufacturing Quality standards, rules and regulations
Encouraging the team to initiate and implement cost and usage reduction projects
RELATED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Minimum requirements
Must have bachelor's Engineering degree ( preferably Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical)
At least 5 years of experience on a supervisory role in Facilities
Knowledgeable in electrical system, mechanical system and DI system, Wastewater (Chemical and Gases Facilities)
Knowledgeable in regulatory compliance
Proficient in MS Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff.
Strong leadership skills.
