Job Description:
Gives direct nursing care
Identifies nursing needs of patients
Plans, gives and evaluates nursing care
Admits patient.
Performs such nursing activities such as bathing and oral hygiene.
Assist patient in moving, maintaining proper alignment of patient's body and utilizing good body mechanics.
Takes and records vital sign.
Observes medical sepsis.
Observes signs and symptoms, institutes remedial action when appropriate and records these in her chart
Reports observation to the physician.
Observes and responds to patients' emotional spiritual needs.
Acts as liaison between patient and hospital personnel.
Interprets to the patient and his family their roles in promoting successful therapy and rehabilitation.
Prepares patients for, and assist physicians with, diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
Carries out doctor's legal orders.
Assist Physicians when examining the patients
