Utilizes the nursing process in providing care.
Performs assessment techniques, maintaining confidentiality and dignity.
Renders appropriate nursing care based from assessed needs.
Prioritizes care based from the outcomes of assessment.
Evaluates care rendered.
Revises care as per evaluation re-assessment findings.
Ensures to provide individualized care plan, adheres and revises plan as necessary.
Performs independent nursing functions with competence and confidence.
Carries out orders intelligently.
Maintains appropriate legal client records and reports following facility and regulatory standards.
Develops interpersonal and communication skills with patients and significant others.
Ensures protection of patient's confidentiality and security of patient's files at all times.
Ensures hospital policies, including but not limited to, infection prevention and control, patient safety and other nursing standards are followed and maintained at all times.
Provides health education and teaching to patients and significant others/families.
Liaise between patients and other medical, allied health and non-allied health services; makes appropriate referrals as necessary.
Ensures continuity of care by communicating and reporting all patient care plans and activities to appropriate personnel utilizing the required handover.
Performs any other patient care duties assigned.
