Description
1. Received emergency patient from transport mobility and/or walk-in patient seeking consultation
2. Administer/render immediate care to patient following independent nursing interventions
3. Coordinate with the ROD/ACOD current status of patient and assist in the emergency procedure.
4. Asses patient and establish baseline data and accomplish accurate record in the patient chart and E.R logbook
5. Ensure accurate implementation of decking is being implemented and observed at all time
6. Carry out doctors order prior to patient transfer (ward, OR/DR or other hospital of choice)
7. Render patient charges to Bizbox prior to discharge (for OPD) and transfer to ward
8. Conduct patient endorsement to ward nurse ensuring completeness of data as well as special instructions are relayed.
9. Initiate initial priming of patient and relatives prior to admission.
10. Relay to info/admitting staff all information vital to the admission and room of choice of the patient
11. Coordinate with HMO approval of requests and admission of patients after info/admitting staff duty
12. Coordinate and communicate with other department procedures ordered for the patient
13. Carry out doctors admission order
14. Assist the E.R Head in monitoring equipment maintenance and implementing economical utilization of supplies and material in the unit.
15. Assist the E.R Head in monitoring inventory of supplies, equipments, instruments and other assets in the unit
16. Respond to patient inquiry following strict implementation of standards set by the unit and the hospital
17. Performs other related tasks that may be assigned from time to time
