Description
Duties and Resposibilities:
1. Provides direct nursing care utilizing the nursing process in a holistic approach.
2. Carries out doctor's orders.
3. Performs nursing techniques / procedures.
4. Changes patients' linen daily or as deemed necessary.
5. Accompanies physician during rounds and assists in special diagnostics / therapeutic procedures.
6. Receives and endorses patient properly.
7. Maintains confidentiality and completeness of patient's medical records.
8. Acts as patients' advocates.
9. Responsible for the completeness, proper care, and maintenance of unit inventory.
10. Facilitates completeness of patients' charges for floor procedures, medicines, and supplies.
11. Attends meetings, seminars, conferences, and continuing education programs.
12. Informs immediate superior for any untoward incident.
13. Supervises and directs non-professional staff related to patient care.
14. Supports institutional programs of World Citi, Inc.
15. Performs other nursing duties and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time.
